May Cards of the Month Show Off Some Shadow and Light

By Todd Johnson

In April, I made 135 baseball cards. For May, I cut back…a little. I only made 117. As the month wore on, I made fewer and fewer cards. In June, that will all change between the draft, promotions, Eugene starting up, and when the new draft picks find their 2018 affiliate.

Originally, there was no theme to this month’s cards. But after examining them, I noticed that most cards have a mixture of lights and shadows to them. Some of the backgrounds are a bit muted and that blends in with many of the frames, almost like a Monet. It was a very good month for cards.

Have are my top ten cards for May.
