Time to for Me to Move On…to North Side Bound

Normally on Tuesdays in the offseason, I would write a mailbag post or the offseason series. However, that’s not going to happen today…sort of.

For the past few weeks, I have felt like the tail has been wagging the dog as I’ve been extremely busy writing for two websites. Keeping North Side Bound and Cubs Central going at the same time has been fun, but I cannot keep it up.

So, after 8 and 1/2 years, I am going to take a risk in this baseball writing hobby of mine and go all-in with North Side Bound. It’s been a blast doing Cubs Central but I just can’t do two sites at once, teach, and take care of Anne, the house, and four dogs.

About the only thing I see myself doing at Cubs Central in the future will be the “Cards of the Month.” I still want to do that here because making the baseball cards is sort of how I got started blogging about baseball. So, things come full circle. Who knows, but I am not going to say I will never write again here.

Over at North Side Bound, I’m going to write all the same types of articles I have been writing for the better part of a decade here, they’re just going to be there.

I want to thank you for all your years of dedication in making this a respected name in the Cubs prospect world. It’s been fun to getting to know you and meet some of you. And it is going to continue to be fun interacting with you at North Side Bound and on Twitter.

In fact, if you head over to North Side Bound right now, you can read my latest mailbag post on Brailyn Marquez. I think you’ll like it!

See you there!

Thank you again!

  1. Todd, end of an era! Really loved this site and reading all your thinking. That said, 100% get the issue of time limitation.

Have enjoyed North Side Bound a ton. You and the fellas offer something special on the site every day. So now will start my mornings there.

Thank you for all. Keep up the good work!

  2. Have really enjoyed all the content here. It’s become my first stop for Cubs material. North Side Bound has been awesome, too. Thank you, and I look forward to continuing to follow your work at NSB.
